ICICI Prudential Life ties up with post office in Punjab

ICICI Prudential Life Insurance on Monday said its policy holders in Punjab can now pay their first and renewal premiums in cash at about 840 post offices in the state.

The private sector insurer has entered into a strategic tie-up with the Indian Post to this effect.

The company initiated partnership with Indian post to provide its customers the convenience of utilising the vast network of postal services, ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Senior Vice-President and Head (Rural, Health and Risk,) Poonam Bhardwaj said in Chandigarh on Monday.

Under the new arrangement, customers can walk into post offices and produce their acknowledgement letters and policy numbers to make their premiums in cash, she said.
